Dear David,
Thankyou for sharing your many interesting posts with me so far. I count myself privileged to be on your list and I do enjoy the opportunity to be deeply which this makes possible Can I meet you without thinking or trying mentally being to being and know you as I know myself enchanted to be with you in this way and not needing to know any verbal details and yet know that in meeting in this way is perfect fulfillement, and we are not and never have been strangers. Can I meet you or anyone else across the miles in this way and can I know that this is the truth in experience now?

David,

Thank you.

First, it tickles me to see how accurately the right message come to me at the exact right moment, such as this one. I negotiate contracts for a living and there is no other arena, in my experience, that contains the dynamic of challenge and requirement of rapport, on such a regular basis as this.

I decided a long time ago that although my "job" was to obtain the best deal for my company, my real mission was to meet people wherever they were through the negotiation process, and bring them through to a new, creative vision of shared function.

This breakthrough only occurs if I am coming from a place of genuine interest in the other person and am willing to engage, (fight a little as you say) clearly, directly, but without rancor, for the good of all parties.

Often then, during this process, somewhere down deep in the person or people I am working with something is triggered that says..."Yes, This is the way it should be...this is a process that I am happy to engage in."

And the outcome? Even in failed negotiations, where the parties can't get to acceptable terms, the attitude is one of..."Thank you, Let's try again when it makes sense".

Thanks again for providing a substantial jumping off point which in turn lead me to my own discoveries.

David
"Of course, to assist others in this way there is no short cut but to do this
for ourselves; to find safe ways to experience what we have been avoiding so
that our own need to be seen as good, in whatever way, and the life-long
habits
of hesitation which go with that, can be let go."

I appreciatively agree. I am definitely a work in progress in this regard. Hows that for a creator/tion update for us all! Your articulation is both accurate and very helpful.
Blessings
